Summary: Responsible for participating in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the SAP R/3 Sales & Distribution module and integration with other application software/packages as applicable. Collaborate with internal customers, IT, and other stakeholders to identify user requirements, assess available technologies, recommend and implement solution options.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Responsible for implementing Projects including requirement analysis, Business process design, configuration testing and training in SAP Sales and distribution process.
Enhance the business process and support the custom applications developed to support IDEXX Business practices.
Develop business relationships and integrating activities with other departments to ensure successful implementation of Projects and enhancements.
Lead small projects to ensure functionality is developed in a way that complies with business requirements and established methodologies & practices.
Should be able to trouble shoot issues through debugging the system with minimal supervision and support from other team members.
Provide back-up support on the Applications Support Helpdesk.
Other duties as assigned.
## Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or business-related (functional) discipline, with an understanding of programming concepts or equivalent work experience and training.
EXPERIENCE, REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
5 or more years of Techno/Functional experience with SAP Sales and Distribution (Basic Functions, Master Data, Pricing and condition techniques, Contracts and Scheduling Agreements, Billing and Billing interfaces with other applications, Service Management, Rebates and Extended Rebates, SIS.
In depth understanding of integration with MM, Logistics, FI/CO, COPA and other modules of SAP.
Experience in integrating legacy applications with SAP is necessary.
Understanding of ABAP concepts, reading & debugging code, designing & implementing user-exits.
Experience on E-Commerce application WECO/CNBS would be a huge plus.
experience is an added advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills.
Proven ability to work in a self-directed environment.
Thorough understanding of business operations in a manufacturing environment.
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well with individuals at all levels within the company.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Weekend hours and weekday overtime may be required.
Participation in on-call rotation required.
Some travel may be required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT :
General office environment.
Normal office noise level, with occasional moderate noise.
