## Description
Plans, manages, and executes the deployment of raw material, work in progress, and finished goods for assigned products in support of the master plan and customer requirements. Creates and maintains stock transfers/transports and associated deliveries. Works as a liaison between the demand plan, inventory strategy, and component inventory requirements.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Works with purchasing, supply planning, demand planning, and logistics to identify and resolve schedule conflicts and real or potential shortages in supply.
Utilizes SAP/MRP computer systems and maintain appropriate inventory.
Creates and maintains stock transfers/transports and associated deliveries. Ensures that quantity and delivery requirements are met.
Reviews product availability on a regional basis. Identifies backordered or endangered inventory and assists with allocation decisions.
Integrates Lean methodologies into business processes.
Identifies, resolves, and recommends solutions to problems regarding availability and timeliness of shipments and receipts.
Develops and continually learns, grows, and strengthens individual capabilities, staying current with best practices.
Adheres to current ISO quality standards and work instructions.
May mentor, train, and coach others and/or direct work of others.
## Qualifications
EDUCATION :
Bachelors degree in a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
APICS certification preferred.
EXPERIENCE :
Typically 2
years related experience as a Deployment Planner in a manufacturing environment
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Ability to anticipate/define problems and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to collect and analyze data in order to summarize and recommend action plans/strategies.
Ability to make well thought out decisions under stressful and conflicting situations and priorities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail.
Solid working knowledge of MRP systems and scheduling concepts.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Some domestic and/or international travel may be required.
