JOB
Summary:
Coordinate and streamline the financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes including: business reviews, monthly reporting, quarterly financial estimates, annual operating plans, and the financial components of strategic planning. Conduct complex financial analysis in making important business decisions. This position will be the primary contact for our South American and Mexican business partners across all of IDEXX's lines of business.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Lead the monthly close process for IDEXX's South American and Mexican operations, which includes reconciliation of internal accounts, comparing actual performance to latest financial outlook, preparing revenue and expense accruals, and reviewing accuracy of revenue, gross margin and expense information.
Develop revenue/expense analyses, reports and presentations; present to senior management as required.
Perform ad hoc financial forecasting, analysis and modeling as required.
Participate in the strategic planning and annual budget process as needed.
Work cross-functionally throughout the organization, serving as the lead financial contact for South America and Mexico.
Partner in business decisions including analysis for marketing programs and acquisitions.
Identify, develop and facilitate processes and improvements in planning, analysis and reporting. This includes leveraging information technology to automate, streamline, and integrate processes.
Identify, develop and facilitate processes to monitor both financial and non-financial measures.
Work with multiple systems including SAP for use in information retrieval and analyses.
Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and present findings to management.
## Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related business concentration
Experience:
4 - 6 years experience in financial/business planning and analysis
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge in Accounting and financial analysis
Strong analytical ability
Demonstrated problem solving skills
Ability to present complex business ideas
Solid MS Office skills (i.e. Excel, Word, etc.)
SAP experience preferred
