Responsible for partnering with the Talent Acquisition team, hiring managers and HR Business Partners to source, interview, and select qualified technical candidates to fill positions within the organization in a timely manner and provide a great candidate and hiring manager experience.
Conduct intake session with hiring manager.
Source candidates through cold calls, email, networking events, employee referrals, job boards, and social networking tools.
Interview applicants and recommend qualified candidates to hiring managers.
Gather detailed interview feedback from hiring managers in order to identify, determine and select the most qualified candidates.
Consult with hiring managers on employment processes. Offer guidance to ensure competitive yet equitable offer terms.
Construct, present and if appropriate, extend offers of employment in conjunction with manager input and approval. Work within corporate guidelines and established practices.
Comply with internal processes, guidelines and compliance related to creating, posting and closing requisitions.
Utilize the applicant tracking system (Taleo) to manage requisitions, candidates and hiring manager work flows.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, policies and regulations including Affirmative Action.
Professionally represent the IDEXX employment brand in all activities
## Qualifications
2 + years technical recruitment experience (specifically software and IT professionals)
Must be internet and social media savvy and have experience mining online databases
Must display sense of urgency
Must be agile, proactive, positive and collaborative
Bachelors degree preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
