2ndAs a Production Specialist, your job will involve performing various manufacturing tasks to create high quality medical diagnostic products, while ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
You will have opportunities to cross-train in multiple work centers and learn new skills that can help you advance in your career.
You will operate under 5S & Lean Manufacturing principles and ISO standards.
By producing innovative products that keep people and animals healthy, you can make a difference in the world.
In this role, you can expect to:
- Read, analyze, and interpret manufacturing and quality control documents, technical procedures, and government regulations.
- Operate a variety of machines on a rotating basis, including set-up operation, clean-up, change-over, troubleshooting, and/or minor repair for manufacturing equipment in the work center.
- Use your basic math skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Work with a team and communicate effectively.
You may also be required to provide production and process training to other employees.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A desire to learn, even if you have no previous manufacturing or production experience.
- The ability to meet the physical requirements of working on the production floor, including standing for 2
hours, sitting, phone and computer use, extended reach, lifting up to 50 pounds, occasionally climbing, kneeling, or bending, and specific vision abilities such as close, color, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
