Relocation Assistance Available to Eligible CandidatesSpring Harbor Hospital, located in Westbrook, Maine, is currently seeking a Charge Nurse in its newly formed Intensive Care Unit.
This is a 6 bed general adult psychiatric unit, which services patients who may have experienced acute psychiatric illnesses and any other co-occurring disorders.
It will provide a low stimulus environment focusing on both safety and symptom stabilization with the goal of transferring the patient to another adult unit when appropriate.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience, great communication skills and the ability to work with a team of dedicated members.
This role allows you to provide highly individualized care to our communities most acute psychiatric patients and their symptoms.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)Education:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
License/Certifications:
Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Certification RN-BC preferred.
Licensed as a registered professional nurse by the Maine State Board of Nursing.
Experience:
2
year of psychiatric nursing or comparable experience preferred.
Demonstrate leadership and management skillsDemonstrate expertise in clinical practice and judgmentDemonstrate effective communication skills Recommended Skills Clinical Practices Communication Health Care Leadership Mental Health Nursing Nursing Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
