IDEXX Laboratories, Inc., - is seeking a Distribution
Customer Support Liaison to support our rapid growth. The successful candidate will be able to identify, research and resolve issues quickly and efficiently. SAP experience is required along with strong customer service skills and the ability to work under minimum supervision.
This is a temporary position (Monday-Friday from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm) to supplement our regular staff. You will gain valuable experience and make meaningful connections with IDEXX employees and managers which could potentially lead to regular employment.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Research and troubleshoot distribution or transportation complaints received via Customer Support or Field Personnel; identify and recommend order specific resolutions to Customer Support. Resolutions include problem orders which lead to free goods replacement.
Track order fulfillment or transportation complaints by type and resolution; create, update and maintain spreadsheet and reports.
Provide complaint statistics and reporting to Operations Management for monthly customer complaint meeting.
Identify trends, suggest improvements and assist Operations Management in the long term resolution of distribution center order fulfillment or transportation issues.
Track shipments as needed working with Carriers/Freight Forwarders via phone or online.
## Qualifications
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Associates degree, or an equivalent combination of related education and experience, a plus.
Experience:
4
years of relevant experience preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Demonstrated ability to research, analyze and problem solve.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service skills.
Detail oriented.
Excellent computer skills; experience with SAP and Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and with minimum supervision as required .
Ability to work independently.
Must work well under pressure and tight time constraints.
Knowledge of warehouse systems and inventory management a plus.
