Description:
Spurwink's Adult program provides daily care and support for adult clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a Direct Care Team, you and the person who applies with you will live in one of our agency-owned homes and provide support for up to 3 adults with intellectual disabilities. You will have the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with the individuals who reside in this home. Each member of the team will earn approximately $33,000 per year with Monday through Friday day hours and every other weekend off.
Duties:
Residential Direct Care teams provide support and guidance with life activities and assist with activities of daily living, daily choices, and community interactions. Other duties include management of the household, providing transportation in company vehicles, administering medications, and providing positive behavioral support.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Individuals who are caring, patient, and interested in helping others are encouraged to apply. Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities is helpful, but not necessary - life and other work experiences are considered.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
