Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a key member of the team, leading design and development for major new features. Our team is small and fast moving so you should be as comfortable designing a new feature as you are writing and debugging code. You will work with a closely knit team of developers, designers, product managers and QA testers so excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Java development with a strong emphasis on the full web application stack and a solid understanding from the database to the web UI. Using the latest technologies means you must be willing to continuously learn new things.
## Qualifications
Skills and Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent required
10
years software development experience with a strong emphasis on high traffic customer facing web sites
Experience with the Java Spring framework
Experience with NoSQL databases
Experience with Maven and CI build tools such as Jenkins
Familiarity with Web UI technologies such as HTML, CSS, JSP, Javascript and JQuery
Experience with designing and building REST APIs
Experience with building internationalized web and mobile applications
Experience transforming business requirements into elegant designs and clean, unit tested code
Extra Credit: Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (App Engine, Cloud Datastore, Big Query)
